Description

History San Jose is pleased to offer this limited edition brass replica of historic Trolley Car 124. Enjoy it on your holiday tree, or as a decoration around your house.

Car 124 of the San Jose Railroads was built by the American Car Company of St. Louis, Missouri, in 1912. The car was used on the Santa Clara Street and First Street Line in San Jose until 1934. Afterward, it was sold and used as housing on Almaden Road in South San Jose. The car was fully restored by the California Trolley & Railroad Corporation under a grant from the Mercury News, and went back in operation in 1988. Today Car 124 is operated by CTRC at History Park, showcasing the history of early transportation in San Jose.

Trolley measures 3.75″ wide x .5″ wide x 1″ high and is made of brass.
