Last month, History San José hosted a naturalization ceremony administered by City of San Jose and U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services at the Peralta Adobe — Fallon House Historic Site, where 35 people representing 15 countries were sworn in as U.S. citizens.
San Jose’s City Manager, Norberto Duenas, an immigrant himself who came to the U.S. from Cuba, gave a moving address following the swearing in ceremony. We were honored to be a part of this special moment and proudly welcome our newest citizens! Check out more photos from the ceremony.
