Open Every Weekend!

11:00 am – 5:00 pm (last entry 4:30 pm)

  • History Park grounds are open to enjoy walking; a selection of historic buildings are open — check HSJ Events Calendar for specific building listings.
  • Arbuckle Gallery at the Pacific Hotel is open — check HSJ Events Calendar for specific exhibit dates.
  • Leonard and David McKay Gallery at Pasetta House is open — check HSJ Events Calendar for specific exhibit dates.
  • O’Brien’s Candy Store & Ice Cream Parlor: Summer Hours (4 June – 31 August) Wed-Sun 11:00am – 4:00pm; Winter Hours Fri-Sun 11:00am – 4:00pm.
  • Historic Trolley Rides until 3:30 pm.
  • Check HSJ Events Calendar for specific dates and times of Family Days and Special Events.

9:00 am – Noon (during the School Year)

  • School Programs are in session (these programs are not open to the public).

  • O’Brien’s Candy Store & Ice Cream Parlor: Winter Hours Fri-Sun 11:00am – 4:00pm; Summer Hours (June 4 – Aug. 31) Wed-Sun 11:00am – 4:00pm

History Park may close due to inclement weather; please check before visiting.

Admission

Monday through Friday

Admission is free year round, except during special events — check HSJ Events Calendar for specific dates.

Saturday and Sunday

Admission is charged for Friends & Family Days and Special Events — check HSJ Events Calendar for specific exhibit dates.

  • Family Days: HSJ Members free; 2 & under free; $5 all others.
  • Special Events: Admission varies — check HSJ Events Calendar for specific fees.

History Park is closed on the following public holidays in 2014:

Martin Luther King Day – January 20th
President’s Day – February 17th
Memorial Day – May 26th
Independence Day – July 4th
Labor Day – September 1st
Tuesday after Labor Day – September 2nd
Thanksgiving – November 27th
Day after Thanksgiving – November 28th
Christmas Eve – December 24th
Christmas – December 25th
New Year’s Day – January 1st
