COMM_waterwizard_fmtVisit History San José’s new exhibit “Shaped by Water:  Past, Present, Future.”

Sign-up and take part in a park clean-up morning.  For children age 10 and up, and adults.  Park clean-up registration begins at 9 am at the Phelan Avenue Entrance to History Park.  To volunteer for the creek clean-up, please email CCHC@sanjoseca.gov and let me know the names of those coming.

Children ages 2 to 9 can participate in a Spring Egg Hunt on the firehouse lawn.  Registration is between 12pm and 12:45 on the porch of the Pacific Hotel.   The hunt starts at 1 pm with age-appropriate “areas” for 2-3 year olds; 4-6 year olds, and 7-9 year olds.  We are requesting a donation of $2 per child.

Later that afternoon, relax and witness Kathy Machado, with the Santa Clara Valley Water District, also known as “The Water Wizard,” perform seemingly impossible feats with water.  Show begins at 2 pm on  the Plaza.

Visit agency booths to lean more about water conservation.  Refreshments from Larry’s Hot Dogs, Mona’s Fruit, O’Brien’s Ice Cream Parlour, and Tony’s Popcorn.
