Keep the Spirit of ’45 Alive – Kickoff

Ends: Friday, August 9th 2013 at 9:30 pm

Kick off Spirit of ’45 weekend on Friday night August 9th for a starry evening under the lights of History Park.  The evening starts at 6:30pm with live big band music.

On Saturday August 10th, History Park is transported back to 1945 with a homecoming parade at 12pm, followed by ’40s era singers and band.  There will be a military vehicle display and vintage car show; memorabilia sale; fashion show; activities for children and more!

Come share your WWII stories and hear others.

Finally, enjoy an evening ball game with the San José Giants.  Spirit of ’45 weekend ends with a bang with post-game fireworks on Sunday, August 11th at 6:30 pm.
