STANDARDS: SS 3.3, 3.5; LA Listening & Speaking 1.1, 1.2, 1.3

Taking on the roles of various workers, students will visit three different workplaces to learn about occupations in the Santa Clara Valley in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, how these businesses supported agricultural communities, and how they contributed to the growth of the region. Buildings may include the Dr. Warburton's Office, Bank of Italy, Print Shop, Dashaway Stables, or Chinese American Museum at the Ng Shing Gung.

Time: Tuesday – Friday
9:30 a.m. – 10:45 a.m.
& 11:00 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.
Group Size: 20 minimum, 40 maximum
Cost: $120 minimum; $6 per student
Chaperones: Minimum one (1) chaperone for each 10 students
